About McKay's Family Auto
In the 1970's the Coon Rapids Chrysler-Plymouth dealership was experiencing a considerable amount of success. As this growing popularity continued into the 1980's, Grant McKay, founder and owner, came to the decision that it was time to expand his dealership.
During this time the St. Cloud area was rapidly developing and seemed to be the most promising place in which to build. So, on January 16, 1984 the McKay's Family Dodge dealership opened its doors for business.
Ever since that day this dealership has been run by Patricia (Grant's daughter). In June of 1996, Patty moved the dealership to its current location, making more room for their own growing success.
In July of 2003, McKay's expanded its products with Chrysler and Jeep being added to the products line.
But through all of this the McKay family still prides themselves on making sure that one thing never changes. That is providing the best possible environment for both their customers and employees. A place where everyone will feel welcome, just as though they were part of the family. With a dedicated staff willing to do what it takes to make sure that you leave happy, not just satisfied.
